I got some more work done on photoshelf.
It’s getting much better. This weekend, I worked on the image upload script. It’s still not done - because it needs to get re-written… But its getting there.
Please bear with me while I get this ironed out and working, and meanwhile, enjoy browsing the galleries.

I fixed Photoshelf. The database is back up. But I gotta get to the root of the problem, and I have not done that yet…
The other change that I’ve made is to establisha database connection pool for photoshelf. I’m hoping this is going to improve performance again.

Well,
I’m learning my lesson for being subject to database server - when it goes down, you’re SOL. And my postgres server is down - got a bad disk.
So, no photos for now - probably be a few weeks before I can get a new disk…

Ian’s using some cool software… Here at Daveshouse, we use POPFile (http://popfile.sourceforge.net) to manage spam.
POPFile is a POP3 application proxy that conatins a Bayesian text classification engine, and a web configuration interface. So, it allows me to re-classify any message that I have received.
It’s cool. And it works for multiple people on a lan too.

I’ve been kind of limiting my exposure to House lately. It’s getting repetitive, and a little boring.
But After Mannheim Steamroller last night, It’s the Essential Mix on Radio One today - Sand Kleinenberg - my Favorite DJ is spinning.
